WHY US

About 81% of grade 4 learners in South Africa are unable to read for meaning. Most children in South Africa do not have any reading books at home or at school. There are high dropout rates in schools, and there is a lack of skills and resources for educators. We also want to improve the reading skills of grade 4 learners in South Africa and address the hunger issue in poorer communities as it may affect many children at critical developmental stages.
